My name is Jen Sweet. I'm 25, and I live in San Antonio with my wonderful husband, P.J., and our two cats, Ash and Yume.

I have always enjoyed art, and finally, in the summer of 2009, I decided to do something productive with my work. I had a large block of white sculpey polymer clay that I had purchased a while ago, and, after some extensive research online, I started making beads out of it. Around the same time, P.J. and I decided to make our wedding rings using chainmail, a technique he had learned some years back used to link small rings of metal together to make dice bags and other accessories. I was so excited and so impressed with our wedding rings that I instantly decided to incorporate chainmail into my new jewelry business.

I enjoyed making beads out of sculpey, but quickly discovered something even more fun: charms. Small charms made out of clay could be hooked onto chainmail to make a charm bracelet or necklace, or suspended from a pair of ear wires for a simple pair of earrings. And since P.J. and I have always been geeks, what better inspiration for my charms than our favorite video games and anime series?

I have a number of accounts with various websites that I use to help promote my work, so please feel free to check them out:

I will have an Etsy account one day, when I finally take the time to set it up...

This site was designed by me, with a lot of help from my husband, P.J., who also provided webspace on his server, sakabatou.net. He also helps me get ideas for my projects, and gives me his opinions as a professional geek so my video game and anime charms can be as authentic as possible. I couldn't have done this without him!

A great big thanks to Lisa Turner of Turner's Tokens for designing my logo for me!
